Four levels of rust removal by shot blasting machines

Sa1: Light blasting or blasting. The steel surface should be free of visible grease, dirt, scale, rust, paint, and other deposits.

Sa2: Thorough blasting or blasting. The steel surface should be substantially free of visible grease, dirt, scale, rust, and other deposits, and any remaining deposits should be firmly attached. Shot blasting indentations should be evenly distributed across the steel surface, with an anti-slip coefficient of 0.35-0.45.

Sa2.5: Very thorough blasting or blasting. The steel surface should be free of visible grease, dirt, scale, rust, paint, and other deposits. Any remaining traces should be minor spots or streaks. Shot blasting indentations should be evenly distributed across the steel surface, with an anti-slip coefficient of 0.45-0.5.

Sa3: Shot blasting or blasting to achieve an apparent clean surface. The steel surface should be free of visible grease, dirt, oxide scale, rust, paint and other attachments, and the surface should show a uniform metallic luster.
